MN-Nargs is a garden club based in the Minneapolis /St Paul, Minnesota area.

If you are into small or big gardens you will like rock gardening

We emphasize rock gardening and its various facets. We have monthly meetings except for Nov. & Dec. We are a chapter in the national organization  called; The North American Rock Garden Society (NARGS).

The chapter promotes and learns about rock gardens. Per our bylaws; “The Chapter seeks to increase and disseminate knowledge of rock gardening; to conduct or cause to be conducted research on rock garden plants and their ecology; to disseminate information concerning the culture of plants suitable for rock gardens in Minnesota....”. Our yearly efforts generally involve programs by various speakers, tours of member’s and non-member’s gardens, plant sales and a yearly banquet with a nationally known speaker. A number of our members also give classes to various garden clubs in Minnesota. We also have a newsletter for our members called “The Minnesota Rock Plant Notes”. Our chapter also maintains the University of Minnesota Landscape Arboretum rock garden.
